  Loved this place. Service was superb! We found this place on TripAdvisor and it was worthy of it's top rating. Pork belly was excellent and Snapper was above average. Salt & Pepper squid was my least favourite, but still good. I liked the generous fresh salads served with every dish. The mixed greens side was delicious. To top it off, the service by our waiter Zack was the best I've ever had in 7 years in Australia. He was attentive without hovering. He was funny while appropriate. His timing was impeccable. He offered to take a photo at the right time without being prompted. He had that rare ability to anticipate our needs/desires without our having to put any effort in to that part of our meal experience. Will definitely visit again if we get back to the area.

  Thoroughly enjoyable dinner with delightful menu choices. Well worth a visit. Fine dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

  This restaurant was a massive surprise to me. The service was excellent and the food was incredible. The manager was accommodating and willing to provide suggestions from both the menu and beverages list. Even when the restaurant filled up the service was on point. Have been twice now and will continue to go back.

  My family had an excellent dinner at Sandpipers tonight. It was my first time at the restaurant and visiting Nelson Bay area. Normally I don’t rate restaurants but this place deserves a good mention for its impressive dishes. Photos shared for the pork belly main dish and seafood taste platter. Both were delicious. Also had oysters and halloumi for appetizers. Restaurant was baby friendly.
